Mitsubishi revamped its midsize Galant sedan for the 2007 model year. Wearing

A new 4-cylinder Sport Edition joins the 2009 lineup, along with a Sport V6. At the same time, Mitsubishi is abandoning the bottom-rung DE trim level. Last year, the Galant lineup slimmed down as well, losing the prior SE and GTS versions. Galants are produced in Normal, IL, along with Mitsubishi's Eclipse and Endeavor models. Sales of the 2009 Galant begin in February 2008.
